TRUE NORTH

Mission Statement:

True North is a weekly, faith-based mentorship program serving teens from the juvenile detention center each Friday at our home, where they gain life skills, physical training, and biblical guidance. Through consistent mentorship, we equip them to become leaders who inspire their families, peers, and communities toward a more purposeful life.

True North Mentorship Program

True North is a 12-week, faith-based mentorship program designed to equip at-risk teens with the leadership, life skills, and spiritual foundation needed to transform their futures. Each Friday, mentors provide hands-on training in financial literacy, practical “dad skills” (home/vehicle repairs, landscaping), fatherhood and husbandry, and physical discipline—all rooted in biblical truth.

Our core values—Leadership, Brotherhood, and Integrity—guide each session, ensuring mentees (ages 13–17) develop character, accountability, and resilience. Structured sessions blend team-building, scripture-based discussions, and hands-on learning, reinforcing practical wisdom alongside faith and responsibility.

Drawing from real estate, military, and fire/EMS backgrounds, mentors instill discipline, self-sufficiency, and financial stewardship, preparing mentees for personal and professional success. Through consistent mentorship, spiritual encouragement, and life skill mastery, True North aims to raise up young men who will lead their families, peers, and communities with purpose and integrity.
